First of all, AGOSPAP stands for “Association pour la Gestion des Œuvres Sociales des Administrations Parisiennes”. Since 1981, it has been responsible for cultural, social and leisure activities in Paris. It was the idea of the Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Paris and the City of Paris to create this subsidy for the benefit of their employees. Today, more than fifteen establishments close to these founding administrations are eligible for this subsidy.

What is the AGOSPAP grant? 

Firstly, AGOSPAP allows you to be reimbursed for the social and cultural activities of your choice. This subsidy can therefore enable you to benefit from good deals on places dedicated to leisure activities, such as Choco-story PARIS! It is founded on the values of solidarity and fairness, and aims to improve the social mix and lifestyle of its employees. You can also use your tickets to go on trips or enroll your children in summer camps. It is therefore a real asset for the purchasing power of private-sector employees.

How does AGOSPAP work?

The AGOSPAP scheme takes the form of a catalog of varied offers, including stays, workshops and various activities at preferential rates. To adapt to the gross income of each household, the social aid granted by the association is calculated according to the scale corresponding to the general tax system of the beneficiary’s household. Under certain conditions, AGOSPAP also collaborates with other payment schemes such as CAF and VACAF. These partnerships enable us to offer discounts, thus reducing the final cost to be borne by beneficiaries. Reservations and registrations are simple and accessible. This system promotes accessibility to leisure activities and contributes to the well-being of employees and their families.

Who can benefit from AGOSPAP?

To be eligible for AGOSPAP subsidies, you must be employed by the AP-HP, the City of Paris or one of the establishments listed below:

– Caisses des Écoles des 1er et 2e arrondissements ;

– Center d’Action Sociale de la Ville de Paris ;

– Eau de Paris ;

– École du Breuil ;

– EIVP, EPM, ESPCI, INJA, INJS, SIAAP ;

– Samu Social de Paris.

Whether you’re a permanent or contract employee (CDI or CDD), or a trainee, you’ll need at least 6 months’ proof of part-time employment. Your spouse and family will be considered as beneficiaries. Finally, for medical staff, retirees of these establishments or any other special case, please contact the association’s dedicated department directly for further information.

How much does AGOSPAP subsidize?

The subsidized rate paid by AGOSPAP depends on the activity chosen and the beneficiary’s standard of living. For example, the subsidized price for a visit to our museum is available on the AGOSPAP website. In all cases, it is adapted to tax income, since it can be adjusted according to the employee’s family quotient. As a result, this exemption favors low-income households and guarantees fair assistance.

In addition, when you use CAF or VACAF vouchers to pay a service provider exempt from the subsidy, their value is fully taken into account when calculating the total cost. If this value is higher than the cost of the stay, AGOSPAP still retains the full amount of the vouchers. In this case, the CAF or VACAF vouchers will allow you to deduct your subsidy from the corresponding amount. This means that there is no possibility of cumulating the subsidy over and above the actual cost of the stay.
