To begin with, one of the biggest advantages of Choco-Story is that it’s open all year round, even during school vacations! There are only 2 exceptions to this rule: our annual closures on January 1 and December 25.
What’s more, because it’s right in the heart of Paris, it’s easily accessible wherever you are in the capital. For example, you can quickly get to Choco-Story from tourist attractions and monuments such as the Palais Garnier, the Musée d’Orsay or the Place de la Bastille.
Here are the many activities you can try at the Musée du Chocolat in Paris:
– Educational presentation: discover the history of cocoa and chocolate-making through time and across South America.
– Permanent chocolate sculpture exhibition: trompe-l’œil sculptures up to 3 m high and weighing over 200 kg? Discover our crazy themed exhibition of chocolate monuments! Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame en chocolat!
– Interactive animations: at Choco-Story, tradition and modernity mingle to form an explosive cocktail! Young and old alike have access to a wide range of quizzes and games to test their knowledge.
– Meet our virtual chocolatiers: throughout your self-guided tour, you’ll be accompanied by 3 Meilleurs Ouvriers de France chocolatiers. They’ll tell you all about their passion for their craft, and explain every step of the chocolate-making process!
– Convivial tasting: what would Choco-Story be without its many tastings to delight visitors’ taste buds? You’ll have carte-blanche to taste no less than 5 different varieties of chocolate, as well as 2 chocolate bonbons to discover our virtual demonstration.

Would you like to take part in a workshop offering 100% personalized chocolate creations? Our master chocolatier will teach you how to make your own delicious chocolate bar to suit your tastes and desires. You’ll be able to choose from a wide range of chocolates and toppings to make your bar as unique as you are. Finally, you can enjoy it on the spot, or take it home to share with other chocolate lovers!
This activity is open to children aged 7 and over. We also organize other workshops on a variety of themes, adapted to the different seasons. School groups and other groups are welcome. This workshop is by reservation only. You can buy your ticket for one of our workshops now.
Choco-Story is open every day (including Saturdays and Sundays) from 10 am to 6 pm. Please note, however, that as a visit usually lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, we are unable to accept new visitors after 4.30pm.
